On the slopes of Monte Resegone, an important tourist and industrial center, favored by its position between the lake, the outlet of Valsassina and the easy connections with the territories of the nearby provinces of Milan and Bergamo. Thanks to the events of the Betrothed, the city is known to Italian students who come to visit the so-called Manzonian Places with tours organized by the Lecco APT. Ideally located for excursions on the lake and towards the nearby mountains. On the lakeside there are beautiful nineteenth-century villas.
