Navigazione Lago di Como ensures a constant connection throughout the day between the two shores of the lake and the Punta di Bellagio, with services of road ferries, boats and hydrofoils. It is also possible to spend an entire day on a boat to admire all the countries that overlook the lake.
Bellano has a railway station where all direct and regional trains stop between Milan and Tirano (So), which generally have an hourly frequency. From Bellano in one hour you can reach Milan.
Furthermore, in two hours by car you can get to Livigno, an Italian free zone, where you can make purchases of goods not subject to VAT.
Switzerland is also very close where you can visit the beautiful towns of Chiasso and Lugano in the Canton of Ticino and St. Moritz in the Grisons.
